The photographic plates, clickable
All 146 models Brückner photographed for Vielecke und Vielflache (1900), on the ten collotype sheets of Tafeln VIII–XII. The models that are stellations of a solid this program can stellate carry a gold outline: click one and the engine rebuilds it beneath the plate, set to the exact cell selection, with the solid's other names and its history. The grey ones are polyhedra of other kinds — uniform star polyhedra, compounds in alien planes — and clicking them tells you what they are, where that is known.

How this page was made
The plate photographs come straight from the Internet Archive scan of the University of Toronto copy. The clickable regions were found by segmenting each sheet photographically — the models are the parts of the plate that differ from the local background — and every region was then checked by eye against the printed figure number beneath the model. Identifications rest on the book's own text, on the table in Coxeter, Du Val, Flather and Petrie's The Fifty-Nine Icosahedra (1938), and on George Hart's study of the book; each figure's panel names its sources. Cell selections were verified by rebuilding each solid in the engine and checking vertex and face counts and outer radii against the literature.
